Tristram Hunt, Director of London's Victoria & Albert Museum, winner of the 2016 Art Fund Museum of the Year award, travels the length of Britain to discover the five finalists for the competition in 2017. The museums on the shortlist were The Hepworth in Wakefield, the Lapworth Museum of Geology in Birmingham, the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing in Newmarket, Sir John Soane's Museum in London and the Tate Modern in London.
