A 24 min film for Marguerite Humeau, 2024
 

"\*sk\*/ey- is about how we became creatures of the air. It is about the formation of life on Earth, the arrival of humans and our first death rituals. There is a snake, a trapped spirit, an eternal sun, the creation of artificial, industrial time, the acceleration of time, a strange mutation of the Earth, the death of a prairie dog. It is about a storm, a great migration and how we released ourselves from our earthbound existences. It was shot entirely, (originally with no script) on the one circular piece of land that I transformed into an artwork last year, in the San Luis Valley in Colorado.
